Adaptive 4D‐Printed Vascular Stents With Low‐Temperature‐Activated and Intelligent Deployment
Microarchitected coronary artery stents were fabricated using a polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based shape memory polymer (SMP) composite via projection micro‐stereolithography (PµSL) 4D printing. By incorporating diethyl phthalate (DEP) as a plasticizer, the thermal transition temperature (Ttran) was modulated to about 37°C, enabling rapid and autonomous ...

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF TEMPERATURE EFFECTS ON FOUR KINDS OF FLEXURE HINGES
In order to reduce the temperature effects on compliant mechanisms, the comparative analysis of temperature effects on four kinds of typical flexure hinge with straight-beam,circular,elliptic and parabolic section is carried out,so that we can choose ...

ADLIF: a new large-displacement beam-based flexure joint [PDF]
A flexure joint is an important component in flexure mechanisms. Most of well known flexure joints have always a trade-off among such performances as precision, stiffness, and stroke, which heavily affect the overall performances of flexure mechanisms ...

Digital Actuation Control of Soft Robotic Origami With Self‐Folding Liquid Crystal Elastomer Hinges
Self‐folding soft‐rigid hybrid robotic origami is enabled by liquid crystal elastomer actuators with embedded Joule heating and closed‐loop digital control. Digitally addressable hinges provide reversible and programmable transitions between distinct folded states while maintaining actuation performance at high cycle counts (over 1500).
