Development of Floor Cleaning Robots.
This paper describes a new mechanism of a floor cleaning robot and its control system for autonomous navigation. The robot can be equipped with a cleaning function; scrubbing or sweeping. The controller memorizes the positions of obstacles by repeating longitudinal traverse and swivel 90 [deg] motion.
