Flotation kinetics of coal in the Inflatable Cyclonic Flotation Column
Powder Technology, 2018This paper mainly investigates the flotation kinetics of coal in the flotation column. The flotation tests were carried out in the Inflatable Cyclonic Flotation Column (ICFC) which consists of two parts, i.e., the inflatable flotation unit and the cyclone flotation zone.

Kinetics and mechanism of coal flotation
Colloid & Polymer Science, 2002The flotation kinetics of coarse coal particles was studied in a modified version of the Hallimond tube at 25 °C using nitrogen as the carrier gas, in the pH range 2–12. The kinetics was followed by measuring the volume of the particles accumulated in the collector tube as a function of time.

Effect of reagents on flotation kinetics of differently sized feeds
International Journal of Coal Preparation and Utilization, 2021The particle size and reagents are the most important parameter in flotation performance. Flotation kinetics models are used to define the rate of flotation and ultimate recovery.

Role of surface roughness in the wettability, surface energy and flotation kinetics of calcite
, 2020The surface wettability and flotation dynamic characteristics of calcite are of great significance for separating it from other coexisting minerals, and the surface roughness plays an important role in the wettability and floatability of calcite ...

Wettability of non‐metallic inclusions and its impact on bubble‐induced flotation kinetics
International Journal of Applied Ceramic TechnologyCeramic refractory bubbling devices may be applied in the steel ladle to induce the flotation of non‐metallic inclusions to the slag phase. These inclusions have many origins along the steelmaking process and induce a detrimental effect on the mechanical

Flotation Kinetics and Fine Particle Flotation
2004As with all physical and chemical processes flotation is a rate process governed by kinetic parameters, which are determined by several factors including the chemistry of the mineral-water interface, particle-bubble collision efficiency, and the strength of attachment of particles to the bubbles.

Experimental Studies on the Kinetics of Flotation
1992Dissolved-air flotation (DAF) is a combination of several physical and chemical unit processes and operations. This study is focused on the phenomena in the flotation tank and especially on the formation and rising of air-bubble floc agglomerates (called agglomerates only).
