Genome-Wide Identification of CaGA20ox Gene Family Members Related to Floral Organ Development in Pepper (Capsicum annuum) at Different Temperatures

open access: yesHorticulturae
Environmental temperature significantly affects plant growth and development, particularly flower development. In pepper (Capsicum annuum), the molecular mechanisms underlying temperature-mediated floral organ development remain unclear.

Integration of Spatiotemporal Multi‐Omics in Peach Fruit Unravels a Metabolic Niche and the Genetic Basis of Trichome‐Mediated Stress Adaptation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructed the first spatiotemporal multi‐omics map of peach fruit and discovered a key candidate gene that synergistically regulates trichome development and drought tolerance through the jasmonic acid signaling pathway, providing insights into the coupling mechanism between development and stress resistance.

Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Redox‐Dependent Chaperoning of GBF1 Condensates Regulates Seed Germination in Arabidopsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In dormant seeds (low ROS), GBF1 forms liquid condensates to repress the germination gene CathB3, and the chaperone GIP1 maintains condensate liquidity and repressive activity. Upon imbibition (high ROS), ROS oxidize GIP1 during germination, impairing its chaperone function.

Flowering, fruit set and development.

open access: yes, 2017
Abstract In this chapter, flower biology and fruit set in cherry, sweet (Prunus avium) and sour (Prunus avium), are examined, paying attention to the critical steps that result in failures in fruit set. For this purpose, a chronological timeline is followed. First, flower development is examined in relation to dormancy.

Wavy‐Interlocked Stretchable Triboelectric Nanogenerators Enhanced by Liquid Metal Microflowers for Self‐Powered Wearable Motion Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic showing a stretchable triboelectric nanogenerator based on interlocked wavy architectures that uses EGaIn microflower‐embedded PVDF‐TrFE and Nylon‐6 nanofiber membranes. The multi‐petaled, electron‐rich EGaIn microflowers enhance interfacial polarization and capacitance, while the interlocked wavy architecture enlarges the effective contact ...
