One-loop quantum corrections to cosmological scalar field potentials
We study the loop corrections to potentials of complex or coupled real scalar fields used in cosmology to account for dark energy, dark matter or dark fluid.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Vibration characteristics of composite plates considering fluid-structure coupling
In order to investigate the influence of fluid-structure coupling on the dynamic characteristics of the amphibious aircraft, the free vibration characteristics of composite plates in contact with a bounded fluid are studied based on the combination of ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Numerical Simulation of a Submerged Floating Tunnel: Validation and Analysis
The dynamic response analysis of submerged floating tunnels (SFTs) under seismic action is a complex two-way fluid–structure coupling problem that requires expertise in structural dynamics, fluid mechanics, and advanced computational methods. The coupled

A Nitsche-based cut finite element method for a fluid--structure interaction problem
We present a new composite mesh finite element method for fluid--structure interaction problems. The method is based on surrounding the structure by a boundary-fitted fluid mesh which is embedded into a fixed background fluid mesh.

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.
