Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Modeling of heat and mass transfer processes in nanofluids on the example of a parabolic solar collector [PDF]

open access: yesОмский научный вестник: Серия "Авиационно-ракетное и энергетическое машиностроение"
The article presents the main mathematical models for numerical simulation of heat transfer processes occurring in a nanofluid — single-phase and two-phase models.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Unsteady convection with chemical reaction and radiative heat transfer past a flat porous plate moving through a binary mixture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, the problem of unsteady convection with chemical reaction and radiative heat transfer past a flat porous platemoving through a binarymixture in an optically thin environment is presented.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Effects of Convection on Sisko Fluid with Peristalsis in an Asymmetric Channel

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2020
This article deals with Sisko fluid flow exhibiting peristaltic mechanism in an asymmetric channel with sinusoidal wave propagating down its walls. The channel walls in heat transfer process satisfy the convective conditions.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

CFD simulation of forced heat transfer of gas in pipe [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2019
This paper presents results from CFD simulation of heat transfer processes in ABAQUS. The investigations are realized at forced convection of air in steel pipe. Verification of the computing mesh and validation of the model, have been done.
