Fluid Inclusion and Sulfur Isotope Study on the Donggualin Gold Deposit in the Ailaoshan Gold Belt

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2017
Fluid inclusions and sulfur isotopes can reveal the characteristics of ore-forming fluid and the origin of ore-forming materials, which are important indicators for ore genesis.

Restartable heat pipe [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
Inclusion in heat pipe of auxiliary working fluid which has considerably lower freezing point than main working fluid enables easy starting after main working fluid has been cooled to or below freezing ...

Generation of entropy and forced convection of heat in a conduit partially filled with porous media- Local thermal non-equilibrium and exothermicity effects applied thermal engineering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The performance of a two-dimensional, axisymmetric channel with porous inserts attached to the walls is analyzed from the perspective of the first and second laws of thermodynamics.

Potential Early Risk Biomarkers for Reduced Forced Expiratory Volume in Children Post‐Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.

Variable Response in Alpine Tree-Ring Stable Isotopes Following Volcanic Eruptions in the Tropics and Iceland

open access: yesGeosciences, 2022
The importance of the stable isotopes in tree rings for the study of the climate variations caused by volcanic eruptions is still unclear. We studied δ18O, δD, δ13C stable isotopes of larch and cembran pine cellulose around four major eruptions with ...

Temperature dependence of the Power law exponent of relaxation in a supercooled Liquid

open access: yes, 2001
The dynamics of Lennard-Jones fluid is studied through extended mode coupling theory (MCT) with the inclusion of the slow mode of defect density. Inclusion of defect density facilitates the liquid like state for temperatures much lower than predicted ...

Unsaturated deformable porous media flow with phase transition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In the present paper, a continuum model is introduced for fluid flow in a deformable porous medium, where the fluid may undergo phase transitions. Typically, such problems arise in modeling liquid-solid phase transformations in groundwater flows.

Ore genesis and vertical variations of ore-forming fluids in the Dayingezhuang gold deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula: Constraints from fluid inclusions, ore forming elements, and H-O-S-Pb isotopes

open access: yes地质科技通报
Objective The Dayingezhuang gold deposit in the middle of the Zhaoping metallogenic belt represents a typical altered-rock type deposit with a giant Au reserve of 283 tons on the Jiaodong Peninsula. The genetic type of the deposit is still controversial.
