Extended Klein-Gordon Action, Gravity and Non-Relativistic Fluid
We consider a scalar field action for which the Lagrangian density is a power of the massless Klein-Gordon Lagrangian. The coupling of gravity to this matter action is considered.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Reprogrammable, intelligent soft origami LEGO coupling actuation, computation, and sensing
Tightly integrating actuation, computation, and sensing in soft materials allows soft robots to respond autonomously to their environments. However, fusing these capabilities within a single soft module in an efficient, programmable, and compatible way ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Resource Recommendation Based on Industrial Knowledge Graph in Low-Resource Conditions
Resource recommendation is extremely challenging under low-resource conditions because representation learning models require sufficient triplets for their training, and the presence of massive long-tail resources leads to data sparsity and cold-start ...

Hydrodynamical Simulations of the IGM at High Mach Numbers [PDF]
We present a new approach to doing Eulerian computational fluid dynamics that is designed to work at high Mach numbers encountered in hydrodynamical simulations of the IGM.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Energy flux measurement from the dissipated energy in capillary wave turbulence [PDF]
We study experimentally the influence of dissipation on stationary capillary wave turbulence on the surface of a fluid by changing its viscosity. We observe that the frequency power law scaling of the capillary spectrum departs significantly from its ...

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
