Penerapan Dinamika Fluida dalam Perhitungan Kecepatan Aliran dan Perolehan Minyak di Reservoir
Water, oil and gas inside the earth are stored in the pores of the reservoir rock. In the world of petroleum industry, calculation of volume of the oil that can be recovered from the reservoir is something important to do.

An Analytical Method for Reconstruction of Velocity Profiles using a Multi-Electrode Electromagnetic Flow Meter [PDF]
An analytical method is developed for the reconstruction of velocity profiles using measured potential distributions obtained around the boundary of a multi-electrode electromagnetic flow meter.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Flows of singular vector fields and applications to fluid and kinetic equations [PDF]
Several physical phenomena arising in fluid dynamics and kinetic equations can be modeled by nonlinear transport PDE. Such quantities are the vorticity of a fluid, or the density of a collection of particles advected by a velocity field which is highly ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Determination of fluid force resisting to rigid body motion
The paper investigates added mass quantity or, in other words, fluid inertia moment by which fluid resists to the change of its velocity. Fluid, as any other rigid substance, resists to the change of its velocity.

We relax the steady-motions theorem by solving for a steady velocity field at the surface of the core in a frame of reference drifting at a linear rate with respect to an observer fixed in the mantle frame of reference.

Inertial dynamics of air bubbles crossing a horizontal fluid–fluid interface [PDF]
The dynamics of isolated air bubbles crossing the horizontal interface separating two Newtonian immiscible liquids initially at rest are studied both experimentally and computationally.
