Indirect fluorescent antibody technique in the serology of Toxoplasma gondii [PDF]
The indirect fluorescent antibody technique has been used to titrate patients' antibody against Toxoplasma gondii. Rigorous tests of the immunological validity of the method were made. The reactions of the gamma globulin of human immune serum with Toxoplasma gondii and fluorescent rabbit anti-human gamma globulin were thus shown to be specific ...

Detection of Toxacara canis Antibodies with the Fluorescent Antibody Technique.
SummaryThe indirect fluorescent antibody technique was used to detect antibody against Toxacara canis in 4 groups of sera. In a group of animals infected with T. canis or A. suum, T. canis antibodies appeared within 2 weeks of infection and a weak reaction with anti-Ascaris sera appeared after repeated infection.

The Diagnosis of Pseudorabies by the Fluorescent Antibody Technique [PDF]
Fluorescent antibody staining (FA) for pseudorabies has been performed on frozen sections from the cerebrum, cerebellum, and pons from 51 piglets suspected of pseudorabies. Pseudorabies virus could be demonstrated in the brains of 23 of these pigs both by FA and by rabbit and/or tissue culture inoculation.
