An Injectable and Self‐Reinforced Piezoelectric Hydrogel for Irregular Bone Defects Regeneration: Dynamic Epigenetic Regulation Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An injectable and self‐reinforcing RSF‐based piezoelectric hydrogel conforms to irregular bone defects and progressively strengthens in situ, overcoming the trade‐off between injectability and mechanical stability. Mechanical loading generates bioelectrical cues that promote P300‐mediated H3K9 acetylation and upregulate PTH1R expression, thereby ...

Cytogenetic data of Partamona peckolti (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Meliponini) by C banding and fluorochrome staining with DA/CMA3 and DA/DAPI

open access: yesGenetics and Molecular Biology, 2003
The stingless bees of the Partamona genus have been studied taxonomically, ecologically and behaviourally, but cytogenetic studies are still rare. The objective of this study was to obtain cytogenetic data to contribute to Partamona peckolti species ...

The effects of protamine deficiency on ultrastructure of human sperm nucleus

open access: yesAdvanced Biomedical Research, 2014
Background: Chromomycin A3 (CMA3) staining is one of the staining methods for detecting protamine deficiency in sperm nucleus. CMA3 is a fluorochrome that competes with protamines for binding to DNA double helix. It has been shown in our previous studies

Restores Aβ Clearance by Overcoming PCSK9–LRP1 Dysregulation and TRIB3‐Mediated Autophagy Blockade in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PCSK9 upregulation in cerebrovascular endothelial cells and microglia destabilizes the Aβ transporter LRP1, while TRIB3‐associated autophagy blockade further limits intracellular Aβ degradation. A RAP‐modified tea‐polyphenol nanoparticle co‐delivers siPCSK9 and siTRIB3 to restore LRP1‐mediated Aβ efflux and autophagy‐dependent degradation, reducing Aβ ...

Remote Ischemic Post‐Conditioning Preserves the Neurovascular Unit by Brain‐Derived Gas6 That Drives Monocyte‐Derived Macrophage Reprogramming via Axl and Vimentin after SAH

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) triggers monocyte‐derived macrophage (MDM) infiltration and M1‐like polarization via Vimentin upregulation, leading to neurovascular unit disruption and cognitive dysfunction. Remote ischemic postconditioning (RIPostC) upregulates neuronal Gas6, which activates Axl on MDMs to downregulate Vimentin and drive reparative M2 ...

Comparison of staining techniques– Ziehl Neelsen stain, Gabbet’s Stain, Fluorochrome stain for detection of mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum

open access: yesIndian Journal of Microbiology Research, 2020
In developing countries, Ziehl-Neelsen (Z-N) sputum smear microscopy is widely used. The present prospective study was under taken to see the efficacy of Ziehl-Neelson method versus Gabbett and Fluorescent staining in the detection of mycobacteria in sputum sample. 80 sputum samples were collected from suspected tuberculosis patients attending RNTCP OPD

Engineered Peptide Self‐Assembled Nanofibers for Enhanced STING Activation: A Promising Nanodelivery Platform for Immunotherapy of Pediatric Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An engineered peptide self‐assembled nanofiber platform, designed to replicate STING–cGAMP binding motifs, facilitates pH‐responsive cytosolic delivery of cGAMP, enhances the endoplasmic reticulum with high efficiency, and robustly activates the STING pathway.

Molecular cytogenetic studies in the ladybird beetle Henosepilachna argus Geoffroy, 1762 (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae, Epilachninae)

open access: yesComparative Cytogenetics, 2015
The ladybird Henosepilachna argus Geoffroy, 1762 has been cytogenetically studied. In addition we have conducted a review of chromosome numbers and the chromosomal system of sex determination available in the literature in species belonging to the genus ...

Ilexoside K Ameliorates Atherosclerosis by Suppressing CD72hi Macrophages and Blocking CXCL12–CXCR4 Axis to Inhibit Endothelial Pyroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CD72hi macrophages drive endothelial pyroptosis and accelerate atherosclerosis through CXCL12–CXCR4‐mediated immune–vascular crosstalk. Ilexoside K suppresses this pathogenic communication by modulating CXCR4‐dependent endothelial responses, reducing inflammation and plaque progression. These findings reveal a macrophage–endothelial regulatory axis and

MIIP Inhibits Colorectal Cancer Progression by Modulating Neutrophils Infiltration and Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This diagram illustrates that MIIP suppresses tumor‐associated neutrophils infiltration and NETs formation by binding to PKR, which impairs the PKR–IKKβ interaction and attenuates NF‐κB/IL‐8 axis activation, thereby inhibiting colorectal cancer progression. This mechanism highlights a promising therapeutic target for CRC patients.
