Novel Bearingless Flux-Switching Motor with Exterior Rotor
2018 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2018Several bearingless flux-switching motors have been implemented recently. These magnetically levitated drives create radial suspension forces and drive torque. They represent permanent-magnetic excited synchronous machines but feature rotors without any permanent-magnetic but salient rotor poles.

Simplified flux-linkage model for switched-reluctance motors
IEE Proceedings - Electric Power Applications, 2005A simplified and fast-built flux-linkage analytical model for the switched-reluctance motor is proposed, which utilises the Fourier series in expression of the current-dependent arc-tangent function. Presently, there are many conventional methods requiring numerous flux-linkage-current-position data; however, this is not economical for modelling.

A novel flux detection design for switched reluctance motor
2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW), 2015In this paper, a PWM control strategy of SRM is briefly introduced at first, and then there follows the analysis of ideal flux model by that strategy. An excellent and reliable driver circuit is strongly needed to maintain a normal operation of SRM, and IR2110 is a good choice to ensure accurate switching operation of power electronic devices.

A novel permanent magnet flux-switching linear motor
4th IET International Conference on Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD 2008), 2008A novel permanent magnet flux-switching linear motor is investigated in this paper. It is cost-effective, since the magnets and coils are both set in the mover, while the long stator is only made of laminated iron core. This simple motor structure costs much lower than other conventional types.

Design of Transverse Flux Linear Switched Reluctance Motor
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2009We have developed a transverse flux linear switched reluctance motor (TFLSRM) in which 12 primary-side poles, each composed of four sectors, boost efficiency over the whole operating range. Each sector can operate independently, enhancing the robustness of the system by providing fault tolerance.

A Novel Bearingless Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Motor
2016 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC), 2016Abstract-A novel bearingless flux-switching permanent magnet (BFSPM) motor is proposed in this paper. Its suspension force windings, permanent magnets (PM) and armature windings are in the stator, while there is no PMs or windings are in the rotor. Firstly, its motor configuration and radial suspension force operation principle are introduced.

Performance evaluation of a bearingless flux-switching slice motor
2014 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2014The bearingless flux-switching slice motor represents a new motor design in the field of bearingless slice drives. This motor topology distinguishes itself from the state of the art bearingless slice motors by incorporating a magnet free rotor. The design offers an advantage in medical and industrial applications that require disposable rotors and high
