Intracerebral temperature alterations associated with focal seizures
Because focal seizures produce an increase in local cerebral metabolism and blood flow, we wanted to determine whether they might lead to changes in brain temperature. We induced focal neocortical seizures by microinjection of 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) into

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Precipitation and inhibition of seizures in focal epilepsies
Introduction: There is growing awareness that reflex epileptic seizures offer unique insight into natural seizure generation in humans. In the last years, focus has mostly been on reflex seizures in generalized epilepsies whereas a comprehensive review ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

An iEEG investigation on sex‐specific differences in seizure duration
Objective Male people with epilepsy (mPWE) are at higher risk for bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (BTCs) and sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) compared to female people with epilepsy (fPWE).
