Bifurcation from a normally degenerate manifold

open access: yes, 2010
Local bifurcation theory typically deals with the response of a degenerate but isolated equilibrium state or periodic orbit of a dynamical system to perturbations controlled by one or more independent parameters, and characteristically uses tools from ...

A Survey of SIR‐Based Differential Epidemic Models for Control and Security Against Malware Propagation in Computer Networks

open access: yesSECURITY AND PRIVACY, Volume 9, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT Unarguably, malware and their variants have metamorphosed into objects of attack and cyber warfare. These issues have directed research focus to modeling infrastructural settings and infection scenarios, analyzing propagation mechanisms, and conducting studies that highlight optimized remedial measures.

Hopf bifurcations and period-doubling cascade in a two-delay predator–prey model with Holling type II response

open access: yesScientific Reports
We investigate the dynamics of a predator–prey model with Holling type II functional response, and two ecologically distinct delays: a prey maturation delay $$\tau _1$$ acting through density-dependent self-regulation, and a predator conversion delay ...

Exact Soliton Solutions and Complex Dynamical Analysis of the Nonlinear Model Arising in Mathematical Physics

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study investigates the (1 + 1)‐dimensional Sharma–Tasso–Olver–Burgers (STOB) equation, a nonlinear model arising in mathematical physics. The modified F‐expansion method is employed to derive a variety of exact soliton solutions, including trigonometric, hyperbolic, singular, periodic, and exponential forms.

Modeling Spiral Chaos in Predator–Prey Dynamics Using Implicit Integration Factor Schemes

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Methods, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper presents efficient implicit integration factor (IIF) methods as robust alternatives to classical finite difference schemes for the numerical solution of nonlinear time‐dependent reaction–diffusion equations in one and two spatial dimensions.

Singular Hopf Bifurcation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This dissertation concerns singular Hopf bifurcation in slow-fast vector fields with one fast and two slow variables. Singular Hopf bifurcation occurs generically in this setting.

Physical Realizable Circuit Structure For Adaptive Frequency Hopf Oscillator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper presents a novel structure for the adaptive frequency Hopf oscillator where the nonlinear function is modified to make the system realizable using analog circuit components.

A Survey On Hopf bifurcation

open access: yes, 2013
This paper is a survey on Hopf bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation is very important in many areas. In this paper, we focus on the properties and proofs of Hopf bifurcation.

Fermionic quantization of Hopf solitons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper we show how to quantize Hopf solitons using the Finkelstein-Rubinstein approach. Hopf solitons can be quantized as fermions if their Hopf charge is odd.

Existence of Bifurcation in Macroeconomic Dynamics: Grandmont was Right [PDF]

open access: yes
Grandmont (1985) found that the parameter space of the most classical dynamic general-equilibrium macroeconomic models are stratified into an infinite number of subsets supporting an infinite number of different kinds of dynamics, from monotonic ...
