Role of RGMc as a Neogenin Ligand in Follicular Development in the Ovary
There is currently no cure for infertility in women with a poor ovarian response (POR). Neogenin is reported to be abundantly expressed in the ovary; however, its role in mammalian follicular development is unclear and its ligand and signaling pathway ...

The role of oestrogen in follicular development [PDF]
Most of our knowledge of ovarian physiology is based upon studies that have demonstrated functional oestrogen receptors in the ovaries of lower animal species. The presence of oestrogen receptors in primate granulosa cells has been questioned by some investigators.

FERTILIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF PIG FOLLICULAR OOCYTES [PDF]
The capacity of follicular oocytes for normal fertilization has been tested in hamsters (Barros & Austin, 1967), sheep (Woody, Alliston & Ulberg, 1961) and rabbits (Noyes, 1952; Chang, 1955). Follicular oocytes of rabbits and hamsters were fertilized at a reduced rate but no sheep oocytes developed.
