Boosting Sensory Nerve‐to‐Bone Interactions Enhances Hedgehog Mediated Calvarial Bone Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Boosting sensory nerve activity via TrkA agonism strongly accelerates calvarial bone repair in adult mice. Furthermore, single‐cell RNA sequencing and neuron–bone interactome analyses identify these sensory neurons as a direct neural source of Hedgehog pathway ligands. Consequently, these ligands drive osteoblast differentiation of skeletal progenitors,

Diversity of Extracellular Vesicles in Human Follicular Fluid: Morphological Analysis and Quantification

open access: yes, 2022
The oocyte microenvironment constituted by the follicular fluid (FF) is a key for the optimal development of female gametes. Its composition reflects the physiological state of the ovarian follicle.

The ATA 2025 histotype-based risk stratification of differentiated thyroid cancer: the revenge of morphologic pathology?

open access: yesOncologie
Differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), encompassing papillary and follicular carcinomas, is the most common endocrine malignancy worldwide. Although incidence has increased, largely due to expanded imaging and diagnostic scrutiny, disease-specific ...

SpaMode: A Broadly Applicable Framework for Deciphering Spatial Multi‐Omics Using Multimodal Mixture of Disentangled Experts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SpaMode introduces a versatile framework for spatial multi‐omics integration across vertical, horizontal, and mosaic scenarios. By disentangling modality‐invariant and variant features through a mixture‐of‐experts mechanism, it adaptively reconfigures spatially heterogeneous signals.

Natural Resistance to Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome in Estrildid Finches Reveals Macrophage GPR183 as a Potential Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ovarian macrophage depletion reverses OHSS resistance in estrildid finches and exacerbates OHSS symptoms in rats. Activating macrophage GPR183 alleviates OHSS by reducing pro‐inflammatory factors, increasing immunomodulatory molecules, remodeling CD44/SDC4‐mediated communication, and restoring immune homeostasis.

A methodological and functional proteomic approach of human follicular fluid en route for oocyte quality evaluation

open access: yes, 2013
Follicular fluid is characterized by a vast protein complexity and a broad dynamic range of protein abundances that hinder its analysis. In this study we determined a proper solubilization and resolution method of HFF in 2-DE, minimizing sample ...

Rewiring NADH Metabolism Through NQO1‐Mediated Redox Cycling for Targeted Follicular Lymphoma Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Follicular lymphoma (FL) remains an incurable B‐cell malignancy with high relapse rates, and conventional therapies are often limited by significant toxicity, highlighting the need for novel treatments. We identified that FL exhibits markedly low expression of NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1), a key enzyme required for activating ...

Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

Effects of ovarian hormones and oral contraceptive pills on cardiac vagal withdrawal at the onset of dynamic exercise.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the ovarian hormones and the use of oral contraceptive pills (OCP) on cardiac vagal withdrawal at the onset of dynamic exercise. Thirty physically active women aged 19-32 years were divided into
