Proliferation in the Normal FTE Is a Hallmark of the Follicular Phase, Not BRCA Mutation Status
Purpose: Women who have inherited germline mutations of BRCA1/BRCA2 are at increased risk of developing high-grade serous carcinoma, and many of these cancers arise in the distal fimbriated end of the fallopian tube.

Radiation‐induced hypothyroidism follows head and neck radiotherapy due to oxidative stress and inflammation. Electrospun polycaprolactone scaffolds containing adenosine have potential to modulate thyroid repair. Scaffolds enhance thyrocyte proliferation, antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase, reduce senescence and apoptosis markers ...

Study of Cardiovascular Reactivity to Mental Stress in Different Phases of Menstrual Cycle [PDF]
Background: It is a well known fact that normally female sex hormone levels fluctuate during the menstrual cycle. The presence of receptors for these hormones on both heart and blood vessels may also hint at variations in physiological functions ...

ContentsCurrent study evaluates effects from breed and management background on follicular dynamics and endocrine output during the follicular phase of sheep oestrous cycle. Follicular phases were synchronized with three cloprostenol doses, 10 days apart, in three groups of 10 females of different non‐prolific Spanish breeds (Manchega, Rubia del Molar ...

Follicular and endocrine dose responses according to anti-Müllerian hormone levels in IVF patients treated with a novel human recombinant FSH (FE 999049) [PDF]
Objective: To study the association between serum anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) levels and follicular development and endocrine responses induced by increasing doses (5.2-12.1 mu g/day) of a novel recombinant human FSH (rhFSH, FE 999049) in patients ...

Gonadotropin in follicular phase in women with luteal phase defect.
Serum FSH and LH in women with luteal phase defect were measured. Their serum FSH and LH were lower than those in normal women and higher than those in women with amenorrhea. Administration of clomiphene citrate to the women with luteal phase defect were effective in 2/3 of the cases.

This work presents a novel, dynamically perfused, configurable microfluidic system for epidermis‐only (E and full‐thickness skin (FT SoC) growth, emulating human skin structure and barrier function. Upon TiO2 nanoparticle exposure, the system reveals compromised barrier integrity, reduced metabolic activity, increased permeability, and chemokine‐driven
