Processing Contaminants in Food Production [PDF]
Contaminants like acrylamide, furan or PAHs (polyaromatic hydrocarbons) as e.g. Benz(a)pyrene may be formed during food processing. All of the substances are genotoxic carcinogens, and for that reason mitigation strategies to reduce the levels are needed.

A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

INVESTIGATION OF PHYTOINDICATION EFFECTS DUE TO CADMIUM CONTAMINATION [PDF]
Heavy metals are one of the most dangerous contaminants in the natural environment that cause toxic effects in the cells of plants and animals. They are not decomposed in the environment but consequently accumulated in the tissues of living organisms.
