Applying Grounded Theory to Investigating Change Management in the Nonprofit Sector

open access: yesSAGE Open, 2016
Grounded theory is well supported as a qualitative research method that historically responded to the epistemological challenges of defining knowledge and determining how it has been acquired.

Heidegger a Husserl o čase

open access: yesReflexe, 2018
Based on a structural-analytical comparison, the author investigates the question of how the relation between subjectivity and temporality is grounded in Husserl’s and Heidegger’s philosophy.

High‐Efficiency Quantum Defect Generation in Carbon Nanotubes via Oxygen‐Free Photochemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We show that oxygen plays an important role in quantum defect formation in carbon nanotubes and identify reaction conditions to create a range of different quantum defects for photonics and biosensing. ABSTRACT Single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) offer potential for a wide range of applications from optoelectronic devices to biomedical diagnostics.

Stabilization of Strongly Reduced Fe(I) Single Atom Species Coordinated in a 2D Self‐Assembled Metal–Organic Network

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A graphene‐supported 2D metal–organic network stabilizes highly reactive Fe(I)‐N4 single sites through Co‐induced charge redistribution. Combined experiments and theory reveal Fe(I) formation, oxygen‐driven oxidation, and O2 activation mechanisms, offering a strategy to access low‐valent iron centers relevant to catalytic and biological processes ...

Engineering Concentration‐Dependent Intravitreal Mobility via Cyclic Arginine‐Enriched Nanocarrier Surface Modification: In Vivo Proof‐of‐Concept in a Porcine Large Animal Model

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, Hammer et al. highlight cyclic‐arginine surface engineering as a highly biocompatible, controllable, and concentration‐dependent regulator of intravitreal nanoparticle mobility in vivo in a translational large animal model. The cyclic arginine surface‐modification supports the development of next‐generation biomaterials for long‐acting ...
