Forming Limit and Fracture Mode of Microscale Laser Dynamic Forming
The microscale laser dynamic forming (LDF) process is a high strain rate microfabrication technique, which uses a pulse laser to generate high pressure by vaporizing and ionizing an ablative coating, and thus produces complex 3D microstructures in thin ...

Experimental Investigation of the Formability Improvement of Brass 260 and Al5182-O in Various Strain Rate using Hydrodynamic and Electrohydraulic Forming Methods [PDF]
Studying the formability of the sheet metals have been the subject of many researches during the last decades. A number of experimental and numerical approaches were implemented to derive the formability diagrams of different materials.

Drosophila park mutants serve as a model for Parkinson's disease. We used this strain to investigate the connection between oxidative stress and the circadian clock mechanism. We showed that increased oxidative stress affects the physiology of pacemaker cells, disrupting their daily structural plasticity. Lack of rhythmic signaling from pacemaker cells

Sheet Metal Forming Limit Prediction with Maximum Thickness Reduction Ratio
Maximum thickness reduction ratio is used to predict sheet metal forming limit in the numerical simulation of forming process. The maximum thickness reduction ratio under different stain path is not a constant for the same material.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Research on the Forming Limit Diagram Based on Laser Shock Forming
Laser shock forming (LSF) of sheet metal is a novel technology in plastic deformation. It is necessary to correctly predict the Forming Limit Diagram (FLD) based on LSF.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an
