Pyrgeometer formula

Applied Optics, 1997
In a recent article [Appl. Opt. 34 , 1598 (1995) a new pyrgeometer formula was proposed. This formula leads to a] bias at isothermal conditions. The origin of the bias is explored by a more rigorous treatment of the radiation processes involved in the energy balance of a pyrgeometer.

Formulae corresponding to Frenet 's formulae

Bulletin de la Classe des sciences, 1955
The object of this paper is to consider formulae corresponding to the known Frenet's Formulae in a Riemannian space of n dimensions, starting from the unit normal to a hypersurface. In this case we get an orthogonal ennuple of n + 1 vectors N, T1, T2, ..., Tn-1, Tn.

Carbohydrate malabsorption and intolerance are frequently the factors limiting intake during rehabilitation of these infants.2 Consequently,

Soy Formula

Pediatrics, 1984
To the Editor.— The excellent commentary by the Committee on Nutrition of the American Academy of Pediatrics on soy-protein formulas1 needs an addition to the instances when soy-protein should not be used.
