Abstract Background Defects of mitochondrial ATP synthase (ATPase) represent an emerging, yet incompletely understood group of neurodevelopmental diseases with abnormal movements. Objective The aim of this study was to redefine the phenotypic and mutational spectrum of movement disorders linked to the ATPase subunit‐encoding genes ATP5F1A and ATP5F1B ...

This study explored how a 90‐day nutraceutical blend with prebiotics, minerals, and silymarin affects the gut‐brain axis in overweight adults. Results showed improved gut microbiota, reduced inflammation, and better sleep, mood, and quality of life, suggesting a strong link between gut health and mental well‐being.

Effect of Natural Polyphenols on Breast Cancer Chemoprevention and Treatment
Effect of Natural Polyphenols on Breast Cancer proliferation and progression. ABSTRACT Breast cancer is the most common type of malignancy among women worldwide. Significant achievements have been made in diagnostic tools and cancer treatments in the past decade; however, the complexity and heterogeneity of certain breast cancer subtypes often lead to ...

Distortion‐free steady‐state diffusion‐weighted imaging with magnetic resonance fingerprinting
Abstract Background Magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) could provide joint T1, T2, and proton density mapping. Measuring diffusion encoding using the MRF framework is promising, given its capacity to generate self‐aligned quantitative maps and contrast‐weighted images from a single scan.

Abstract Purpose This work aims to propose a robust reconstruction method exploiting shared information across shells to increase the acquisition speed of multi‐shell diffusion‐weighted MRI (dMRI), enabling rapid tissue microstructure mapping. Theory and Methods Local q‐space points share similar information.

A method to detect perchlorate ions and certify safe drinking water by constructing a fluorescence‐based logic gate considering the binding of a hemicyanine dye with β‐CD is presented. Perchlorate ions (ClO4−) are prevalent contaminants in the surface, and drinking water that disrupt thyroid function by competitively inhibiting the sodium‐iodide ...

Abstract Mucinous cystic neoplasms (MCNs) of the pancreas are macroscopic precursors of pancreatic cancer. A similar cystic lesion but lacking the ovarian‐type subepithelial stroma has been recently defined as a simple mucinous cyst (SMC); however, its nature remains unclear. This study aims to define the clinicopathological and molecular profiles of a

ABSTRACT ZraS is a metal sensor integral to ZraPSR, a two‐component signaling system found in enterobacters. It belongs to a family of bifunctional sensor histidine kinases (SHKs) and is speculated to sense zinc‐induced stress on the bacterial envelope.

ABSTRACT Collagen prolyl 4‐hydroxylase (C‐P4H) catalyzes the 4‐hydroxylation of Y‐prolines of the XYG‐repeat of procollagen. C‐P4Hs are tetrameric α2β2 enzymes. The α‐subunit provides the N‐terminal dimerization domain, the middle peptide‐substrate–binding (PSB) domain, and the C‐terminal catalytic (CAT) domain.

The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.
