Nanomaterials for promoting axon regeneration after spinal cord injury: Mechanisms and prospects

The effects of clinical therapies for spinal cord injury (SCI) are greatly limited due to poor axon regeneration. This review systematically discusses the ability of nanomaterials (NMs) to treat SCI and the mechanism underlying their therapeutic effects. Hot Spot Induced Thermal Runaway Map for Polymerization Reactors

Definitive thresholds for thermal runaway from LDPE hot spots are derived in this work. Increasing both initial temperature and initial catalyst concentration increased thermal runaway likelihood, while, counterintuitively, hot spot volume has no effect. This provides more context for hot spot tracking and prevention in LDPE reactors.
