THIN-WALLED FOUR-POINT CONTACT BALL BEARING CONTACT FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2018
Based on the ANSYS finite element software, the method of dividing the contact area of the four point contact ball bearing is proposed. Establish a uniform thin four point contact ball bearing 1/2 single rolling and ring and the bearing finite element ...

Protein O‐glycosylation in the Bacteroidota phylum

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Species of the Bacteroidota phylum exhibit a unique O‐glycosylation system. It modifies noncytoplasmic proteins on a specific amino acid motif with a shared glycan core but a species‐specific outer glycan. A locus of multiple glycosyltransferases responsible for the synthesis of the outer glycan has been identified.

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Overexpression of CDT1 inhibits cell cycle progression at S phase by interacting with the mini‐chromosome maintenance complex and causes DNA damage

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CDT1 is an essential protein for DNA replication licensing that loads the MCM complex, the eukaryotic replicative DNA helicase, onto replication origins. Overexpression of CDT1 induces cell cycle arrest at the S phase. Here we showed CDT1 inhibits the progression of replication forks by interacting with the MCM complex, leading to the stalling and ...

Force-Symmetric Type Two-Channel Bilateral Control System Based on Higher-Order Disturbance Observer

open access: yesIEEE Access
In a bilateral control system, reducing the information-transmission channel between the master and slave systems has advantages, such as suppressing data traffic, reducing stored data, and simplifying the control-system design. The position/force hybrid-

Numerical calculations of a high brilliance synchrotron source and on issues with characterizing strong radiation damping effects in non-linear Thomson/Compton backscattering experiments

open access: yes, 2012
A number of theoretical calculations have studied the effect of radiation reaction forces on radiation distributions in strong field counter-propagating electron beam-laser interactions, but could these effects - including quantum corrections - be ...
