Peptide Sequencing With Single Acid Resolution Using a Sub‐Nanometer Diameter Pore
To sequence a single molecule of Aβ1−42–sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), the aggregate is forced through a sub‐nanopore 0.4 nm in diameter spanning a 4.0 nm thick membrane. The figure is a visual molecular dynamics (VMD) snapshot depicting the translocation of Aβ1−42–SDS through the pore; only the peptide, the SDS, the Na+ (yellow/green) and Cl− (cyan ...

Realisations of Finite-Sample Frequency-Selective Filters [PDF]
A filtered data sequence can be obtained by multiplying the Fourier ordinates of the data by the ordinates of the frequency response of the filter and by applying the inverse Fourier transform to carry the product back to the time domain.

On summation of Fourier series in finite form
The problem of summation of Fourier series in finite form is formulated in the weak sense, which allows one to consider this problem uniformly both for classically convergent and for divergent series. For series with polynomial Fourier coefficients \(a_n,

FOURIER COEFFICIENTS OF CONTINUOUS FUNCTIONS WITH RESPECT TO LOCALIZED HAAR SYSTEM
We construct a nontrivial example of a continuous function f* on [0, 1]² which is orthogonal to tensor products of Haar functions supported on intervals of the same length.

Molecular engineering of a nonconjugated radical polymer enables a significant enhancement of the glass transition temperature. The amorphous nature and tunability of the polymer, arising from its nonconjugated backbone, facilitates the fabrication of organic memristive devices with an exceptionally high yield (>95%), as well as substantial ...

Crack‐Growing Interlayer Design for Deep Crack Propagation and Ultrahigh Sensitivity Strain Sensing
A crack‐growing semi‐cured polyimide interlayer enabling deep cracks for ultrahigh sensitivity in low‐strain regimes is presented. The sensor achieves a gauge factor of 100 000 at 2% strain and detects subtle deformations such as nasal breathing, highlighting potential for minimally obstructive biomedical and micromechanical sensing applications ...

In Situ Study of Resistive Switching in a Nitride‐Based Memristive Device
In situ TEM biasing experiment demonstrates the volatile I‐V characteristic of MIM lamella device. In situ STEM‐EELS Ti L2/L3 ratio maps provide direct evidence of the oxygen vacancies migrations under positive/negative electrical bias, which is critical for revealing the RS mechanism for the MIM lamella device.

Functions of Minimal Norm with the Given Set of Fourier Coefficients
We prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the problem of the minimum norm function ∥ · ∥ ∞ with a given set of initial coefficients of the trigonometric Fourier series c j , j = 0 , 1 , … , 2 n ...
