Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Second Generation Current Conveyor Based Floating Fractional Order Memristance Simulator and a New Dynamical System

open access: yesCybernetics and Information Technologies, 2020
In recent years, due to its non-volatile memory, non-locality, and weak singularity features, fractional calculations have begun to take place frequently in artificial neural network implementations and learning algorithms. Therefore, there is a need for

dUTPase is essential in zebrafish development and possesses several single‐nucleotide variants with pronounced structural and functional consequences

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Experimental Characterization of Ionic Polymer Metal Composite as a Novel Fractional Order Element

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2013
Ionic polymer metal composites (IPMCs) are electroactive materials made of ionic polymer thin membranes with platinum metallization on their surfaces. They are interesting materials due to not only their electromechanical applications as transducers but ...

Differential regulation of ZFAS1 splice variants by endoplasmic reticulum stress in hepatocyte cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

State Estimation Based State Augmentation and Fractional Order Proportional Integral Unknown Input Observers

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents a new method for the simultaneous estimation of system states and unknown inputs in fractional-order Takagi–Sugeno (FO-TS) systems with unmeasurable premise variables (UPVs), by introducing a fractional-order proportional-integral ...

A wellbore creep model based on the fractional viscoelastic constitutive equation

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2017
To simulate the evolution of wellbore creep accurately, predict and prevent severe accidents such as borehole wall sloughing, casing collapse and sticking of the drill, based on previous studies, the springpot element was introduced into the classical ...

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
