Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Dynamics of Fractal Solids

open access: yes, 2005
We describe the fractal solid by a special continuous medium model. We propose to describe the fractal solid by a fractional continuous model, where all characteristics and fields are defined everywhere in the volume but they follow some generalized ...

Fractional dynamics pharmacokinetics–pharmacodynamic models [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, 2010
While an increasing number of fractional order integrals and differential equations applications have been reported in the physics, signal processing, engineering and bioengineering literatures, little attention has been paid to this class of models in the pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) literature.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Classical Entanglement: Parametric Geometry and Non-Parametric Synthesis of Asymptotic Laws

open access: yesAxioms
This review develops a unified geometric framework for synthesizing global asymptotic laws, termed classical entanglement. The central tool is the entanglement operator, a Minkowski–La metric blend that couples asymptotic regimes through an index a>1 ...

Theoretical Analysis of Fractional Viscoelastic Flow in Circular Pipes: Parametric Study

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Pipe flow is one of the most commonly used models to describe fluid dynamics. The concept of fractional derivative has been recently found very useful and much more accurate in predicting dynamics of viscoelastic fluids compared with classic models.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Fractional Dynamical Systems

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper the author presents the results of the preliminary investigation of fractional dynamical systems based on the results of numerical simulations of fractional maps. Fractional maps are equivalent to fractional differential equations describing systems experiencing periodic kicks.

Dynamical fractional chaotic inflation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2014
Chaotic inflation based on a simple monomial scalar potential, $V(\ensuremath{\phi})\ensuremath{\propto}{\ensuremath{\phi}}^{p}$, is an attractive large-field model of inflation capable of generating a sizable tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$. Therefore, assuming that future cosmic microwave background observations will confirm the large $r$ value reported ...
