Analogue Realization of Fractional-Order Dynamical Systems
As it results from many research works, the majority of real dynamical objects are fractional-order systems, although in some types of systems the order is very close to integer order.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Optimal Random Search, Fractional Dynamics and Fractional Calculus [PDF]
What is the most efficient search strategy for the random located target sites subject to the physical and biological constraints? Previous results suggested the Levy flight is the best option to characterize this optimal problem, however, which ignores the understanding and learning abilities of the searcher agents.

Anomalous Diffusion by the Fractional Fokker-Planck Equation and L\ue9vy Stable Processes
The work presented here is a review of current developments in modelling\ua0anomalous diffusion using a Fokker-Planck description with fractional velocity derivatives\ua0and Langevin dynamics where L\ub4evy fluctuations are introduced to model the ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

A dynamic programming approach to adaptive fractionation [PDF]
We conduct a theoretical study of various solution methods for the adaptive fractionation problem. The two messages of this paper are: (i) dynamic programming (DP) is a useful framework for adaptive radiation therapy, particularly adaptive fractionation, because it allows us to assess how close to optimal different methods are, and (ii) heuristic ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Fractional Integration and the Dynamics of UK Unemployment [PDF]
This article is concerned with the dynamic behaviour of UK unemployment. However, instead of using traditional approaches based on I(0) stationary or I(1) (integrated and/or cointegrated) models, we use the fractional integration framework.

Fractional integration and cointegration in US financial time series data
This paper examines several US monthly financial time series data using fractional integration and cointegration techniques. The univariate analysis based on fractional integration aims to determine whether the series are I(1) (in which case markets ...
