2D Fractional Supersymmetry for Rational Conformal Field Theory. Application for Third-Integer Spin States [PDF]
A 2D- fractional supersymmetry theory is algebraically constructed. The Lagrangian is derived using an adapted superspace including, in addition to a scalar field, two fields with spins 1/3,2/3.

Purification tags markedly affect self‐aggregation of CPEB3
Although recombinant proteins are used to study protein aggregation in vitro, uncleaved tags can interfere with accurate interpretation. Our findings demonstrate that His₆‐GFP and His₁₂ tags significantly affect liquid droplet and amyloid fibril formation in the intrinsically disordered region (IDR) of mouse cytoplasmic polyadenylation element‐binding ...

Identifying codes in vertex-transitive graphs and strongly regular graphs [PDF]
We consider the problem of computing identifying codes of graphs and its fractional relaxation. The ratio between the size of optimal integer and fractional solutions is between 1 and 2ln(vertical bar V vertical bar) + 1 where V is the set of vertices of

In the adult T‐cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATL) cell line ED, the human T‐cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV‐1) provirus was integrated into the intron of the ift81 gene in the antisense orientation. Despite this integration, both the intact ift81 and the viral oncogene hbz were simultaneously expressed, likely due to the functional insufficiency of viral ...

We show explicitly that the full structure of IIB string theory is needed to remove the non-localities that arise in boundary conformal theories that border hyperbolic spaces on AdS$_5$.

The Moduli Space of BPS Domain Walls [PDF]
N=2 SQED with several flavors admits multiple, static BPS domain wall solutions. We determine the explicit two-kink metric and examine the dynamics of colliding domain walls.

The anabolic steroid stanozolol is a potent inhibitor of human MutT homolog 1
MutT homolog 1 (MTH1) is a member of the NUDIX superfamily of enzymes and is an anticancer drug target. We show that stanozolol (Stz), an anabolic steroid, is an unexpected nanomolar inhibitor of MTH1. The X‐ray crystal structure of the human MTH1–Stz complex reveals a unique binding scaffold that could be utilized for future inhibitor development ...

Aβ42 promotes the aggregation of α‐synuclein splice isoforms via heterogeneous nucleation
The aggregation of amyloid‐β (Aβ) and α‐synuclein (αSyn) is associated with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. This study reveals that Aβ aggregates serve as potent nucleation sites for the aggregation of αSyn and its splice isoforms, shedding light on the intricate interplay between these two pathogenic proteins.

Introduction to multifractional spacetimes
We informally review the construction of spacetime geometries with multifractal and, more generally, multiscale properties. Based on fractional calculus, these continuous spacetimes have their dimension changing with the scale; they display discrete ...

In this work, we reveal how different enzyme binding configurations influence the fluorescence decay of NAD(P)H in live cells using time‐resolved anisotropy imaging and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM). Mathematical modelling shows that the redox states of the NAD and NADP pools govern these configurations, shaping their fluorescence ...
