Robust adaptive control for fractional-order chaotic systems with system uncertainties and external disturbances

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
This paper studies the robust adaptive control of fractional-order chaotic systems with system uncertainties and bounded external disturbances. Based on a proposed lemma, quadratic Lyapunov functions are used in the stability analysis and fractional ...

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Necessary optimality conditions for fractional action-like problems with intrinsic and observer times [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We prove higher-order Euler-Lagrange and DuBois-Reymond stationary conditions to fractional action-like variational problems.

A space-time pseudospectral discretization method for solving diffusion optimal control problems with two-sided fractional derivatives

open access: yes, 2018
We propose a direct numerical method for the solution of an optimal control problem governed by a two-side space-fractional diffusion equation. The presented method contains two main steps.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Dynamical Behavior of Fractional-Order Delayed Feedback Control on the Mathieu Equation by Incremental Harmonic Balance Method

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2022
In this study, the dynamical analysis of the Mathieu equation with multifrequency excitation under fractional-order delayed feedback control is investigated by the incremental harmonic balance method (IHBM).

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Variable Order Fractional Variational Calculus for Double Integrals

open access: yes, 2012
We introduce three types of partial fractional operators of variable order. An integration by parts formula for partial fractional integrals of variable order and an extension of Green's theorem are proved.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...
