Approximate Analytical Solutions of Time Fractional Whitham–Broer–Kaup Equations by a Residual Power Series Method

open access: yesEntropy, 2015
In this paper, a new analytic iterative technique, called the residual power series method (RPSM), is applied to time fractional Whitham–Broer–Kaup equations. The explicit approximate traveling solutions are obtained by using this method.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Solution of fractional modified Kawahara equation: a semi-analytic approach

open access: yesMathematics in Applied Sciences and Engineering, 2023
The present study examines a semi-analytical method known as the Fractional Residual Power Series Method for obtaining solutions to the non-linear, time-fractional Kawahara and modified Kawahara equations.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Solving Nonlinear Fractional PDEs with Applications to Physics and Engineering Using the Laplace Residual Power Series Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2023
The Laplace residual power series (LRPS) method uses the Caputo fractional derivative definition to solve nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. This technique has been applied successfully to solve equations such as the fractional Kuramoto–

Fractional View Study of the Brusselator Reaction–Diffusion Model Occurring in Chemical Reactions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
In this paper, we study a fractional Brusselator reaction–diffusion model with the help of the residual power series transform method. Specific reaction–diffusion chemical processes are modeled by applying the fractional Brusselator reaction–diffusion ...

Modified Laplace transformation method at finite temperature: application to infra-red problems of N component $\phi^4$ theory

open access: yes, 1997
Modified Laplace transformation method is applied to N component $\phi^4$ theory and the finite temperature problem in the massless limit is re-examined in the large N limit.

Exact Solutions of Some Fractional Power Series

open access: yes, 2023
Abstract: In this paper, we obtain the exact solutions of two fractional power series. A new multiplication of fractional power series and Jumarie type of Riemann-Liouville (R-L) fractional calculus play important roles in this article. In fact, our results are generalizations of ordinary calculus results.
