Diffusion Spectrum Imaging Maps Early Axonal Loss and a Unique Progressive Signal in Neuronal Intranuclear Inclusion Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To delineate specific in vivo white matter pathology in neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) using diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI) and define its clinical relevance. Methods DSI was performed on 42 NIID patients and 38 matched controls.

On the Analytical Solution of Fractional SIR Epidemic Model

open access: yesApplied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, 2023
This article presents the solution of the fractional SIR epidemic model using the Laplace residual power series method. We introduce the fractional SIR model in the sense of Caputo’s derivative; it is presented by three fractional differential equations,

Two-loop Resummation in Fractional Analytic Perturbation Theory

open access: yes, 2010
This talk describes the resummation approach in (Fractional) Analytic Perturbation Theory (FAPT) in QCD. First, we make a short historical review of the (F)APT approach and then shortly describe the global scheme of FAPT which allows one to take into ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Least-square-based transform methods for analytical solutions of fractional-order nonlinear (1+1)-dimensional dynamics equations

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
In this work, we consider the analysis of the nonlinear Burgers' equation as a fractional-order partial differential equation using the Caputo derivation.

Efficient Process Development for Laser Powder Bed Fusion of a Soft‐Magnetic Metallic Glass Composite

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Iron‐based metallic glass alloys exhibit excellent soft‐magnetic properties, and unprecedented geometrical freedom in the design of soft‐magnetic metallic glass components is made possible by additive manufacturing. An efficient workflow for developing parameters for laser‐based powder bed fusion of a Fe‐based metallic glass alloy is presented along ...

Mathematical frameworks for investigating fractional nonlinear coupled Korteweg-de Vries and Burger’s equations

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
This article utilizes the Aboodh residual power series and Aboodh transform iteration methods to address fractional nonlinear systems. Based on these techniques, a system is introduced to achieve approximate solutions of fractional nonlinear Korteweg-de ...

Branched continued fractions for double power series

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 1980
AbstractA branched continued fraction (BCF) is defined and some of their properties are shown. This branched continued fraction corresponds to the double power series. One theorem of Van Vleck is transformed for the case of double power series and BCF.

Multimodal Mechanical Testing of Additively Manufactured Ti6Al4V Lattice Structures: Compression, Bending, and Fatigue

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting
