This study reveals that Testosterone–Androgen Receptor signaling delays elderly male bone destruction by upregulation of the osteoblastic extracellular tenascin‐C (TNC). The osteoprotective effect of fibrinogen C‐terminus of TNC is demonstrated in male osteoporotic mice model that osteoblast‐specific Ar‐knockout, potentially via inhibition of ...

This work identifies a novel mechanism by which dopamine D1 receptor (DRD1) contributes to the pathogenesis of glucocorticoid (GC)‐associated osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) through the regulation of osteoblastic apoptosis, indicating that DRD1 serves as a critical mediator of the crosstalk between the nervous and skeletal systems.

Bubbles in soft tissue are the unavoidable consequence of magnesium implant degradation in patients, yet their biological significance remains unclear. Using advanced imaging and spatial transcriptomics, this study reveals a pronounced inflammatory and mechanical response near bubbles, contrasting with pro‐regenerative events closer to the implant ...

pMM‐PCL, made up of pretreated macrophage menbrane and polycaprolactone, boasts the adsorption of harmful myelin debris in the microenvironment of spinal cord injury. Abstract After spinal cord injury (SCI), a mass of myelin debris derived from injured myelin sheath will be consistently generated and induce macrophages to be foam cells.
