An IscS Persulfide Donates the Sulfur for Ribosomal Protein uL16 Thioamidation
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.YcaO‐catalyzed thioamidation of the ribosomal subunit protein uL16 is widespread in Pseudomonadota bacteria. We identify the iron–sulfur cluster cysteine desulfurase IscS as the sulfur donor via an IscS persulfide and observe direct IscS–uL16 interactions.

Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.Bullvalene is a fluxional molecule capable of adopting numerous conformations spontaneously; just like a Rubik's Cube. In this paper, we explore the incorporation of bullvalene into the backbone of a highly rigid conjugated polymer semiconductor and observe that the inherent fluxionality reduces average crystallite size.
