Conditional Cooperation and Framing Effects [PDF]
This paper presents evidence from a lab experiment investigating whether the preeminence of conditional cooperators in studies using the method of Fischbacher, Gächter and Fehr (2001, Economics Letters) is sensitive to changes in the experimental ...

systematic review of risky-choice framing effects [PDF]
Classic decision theory requires that rational agents show description invariance: which description is chosen should not matter for judgments, preferences, or choices given the descriptions are co-extensive.

Bounded Rationality in Study Time Allocation: Evidence Based on Risky Choice Framing Effects [PDF]
When allocating study time for the English sections of the National College Entrance Examination or the Postgraduate Entrance Examination, learners often encounter value-test likelihood trade-offs, where questions of similar difficulty may have different

Framing Effects on Online Security Behavior. [PDF]
We conducted an incentivized lab experiment examining the effect of gain vs. loss-framed warning messages on online security behavior. We measured the probability of suffering a cyberattack during the experiment as the result of five specific security behaviors: choosing a safe connection, providing minimum information during the sign-up process ...

Exploring the Frame Effect [PDF]
AbstractProbes flashed within a moving frame are dramatically displaced (Özkan et al, 2021; Wong &Mack, 1981). The effect is much larger than that seen on static or moving probes (induced motion, Duncker, 1929; Wallach et al, 1978). These flashed probes are often perceived with the separation they have in frame coordinates — a 100% effect.

Web-conferencing as a viable method for group decision research [PDF]
Studying group decision-making is challenging for multiple reasons. An important logistic difficulty is studying a sufficiently large number of groups, each with multiple participants.
