Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Calculation of Free and Forced Lateral Vibrations of a Shaft Line Using Solution Coefficient Vectors [PDF]
In this paper, the free and forced lateral vibrations of a marine propulsion shafting system on anisotropic supports are computed using the vectors of solution coefficients method. The transverse vibrations are considered in two orthogonal planes.

Dislocation cutting of γ′ precipitates in Ni‐based superalloys is investigated by linking atomistic simulations with discrete dislocation dynamics. The critical cutting stress is shown to be governed by the antiphase boundary energy, while line tension effects promote edge‐preferred cutting.
