Some infinite free boundary problems [PDF]
Let Γ \Gamma be the boundary of an unbounded simply connected region D \mathcal {D} , and let C ( Γ ) \mathcal {C}(\Gamma ) denote the family of all simply connected regions Δ ⊂ D \Delta ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

A parabolic free boundary problem with Bernoulli type condition on the free boundary [PDF]
Consider the parabolic free boundary problem $$ \Delta u - \partial_t u = 0 \textrm{in} \{u>0\}, |\nabla u|=1 \textrm{on} \partial\{u>0\} . $$ For a realistic class of solutions, containing for example {\em all} limits of the singular perturbation ...

On the measure and the structure of the free boundary of the lower dimensional obstacle problem
We provide a thorough description of the free boundary for the lower dimensional obstacle problem in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ up to sets of null $\mathcal{H}^{n-1}$ measure.

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Epsilon-regularity for p-harmonic maps at a free boundary on a sphere
We prove an $\epsilon$-regularity theorem for vector-valued p-harmonic maps, which are critical with respect to a partially free boundary condition, namely that they map the boundary into a round sphere. This does not seem to follow from the reflection

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

Peculiarities of the dynamics of a viscous liquid with a free boundary under periodic influences [PDF]
Purpose of the work is revealing and researching of peculiarities of a motion of a viscous liquid having a free boundary and undergoing periodic in time influences which are characterized by the absence of a predominant direction in space. Methods.

Two-dimensional Thermocapillary Fluid Motion in an Open Channel
The problem of two-dimensional thermocapillary fluid motion in a flat channel is studied. The temperature in the liquid is distributed according to the quadratic law, which is consistent with the velocity field of the Himentz type.
