Flow-Free Video Object Segmentation [PDF]
Segmenting foreground object from a video is a challenging task because of the large deformations of the objects, occlusions, and background clutter. In this paper, we propose a frame-by-frame but computationally efficient approach for video object segmentation by clustering visually similar generic object segments throughout the video.

This thesis investigates several free-surface phenomena to illustrate the role of viscous stresses. In part I (chapters 1-4), we study the impact of spherical liquid drops on non-wetting substrates. After impact on a rigid substrate, a falling liquid drop deforms and spreads, owing to the normal reaction force.

Free Flow and Discharge Characteristics of Trapezoidal-Shaped Weirs
A number of studies have considered the effects of weir design variations on the free- and submerged-flow characteristics of trapezoidal broad-crested weirs. It appears that the hydraulics of short-crested weir flows have received little attention; thus,

Hydraulic Characteristics of the Crump Gabion Weirs for Free Flow Conditions [PDF]
In contrast with conventional impermeable weirs, Solid objects and dissolves substances can pass through gabion weirs. Thus, due to its minimal negative attributes, gabion weirs are considered environmentally friendly structures.

Flow characteristics of submerged free jet flow from petal-shaped nozzle
Jet flow phenomenon is one of the most important basic flows in the field of fluid dynamics because it includes the free and wall bounded turbulent shear flows and large-scale vortex structures.

Power-law free overfall in subcritical flow regime
Free overfall can be used as a discharge measuring structure by a single measurement of end flow depth. Many theoretical and experimental studies carried out on free overfalls with different cross-section shape, different slope (mild and steep), and ...

Resolving modular flow: a toolkit for free fermions
Modular flow is a symmetry of the algebra of observables associated to space-time regions. Being closely related to entanglement, it has played a key role in recent connections between information theory, QFT and gravity.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.
