Balanced gain for a square metaloop antenna
A square loop antenna implemented using a metamaterial line, referred to as a metaloop, is discussed. The metaloop radiates a counter circularly polarized (CP) broadside beam when the loop circumference equals one guided wavelength.

On the cohomology of free and twisted loop spaces
The main aim of this article is a thorough calculation of the cohomology rings and their unstable algebra structures over the Steenrod algebra of free and twisted loop spaces of certain classifying spaces of compact Lie groups, including some finite Chevalley groups. The main tool here is the Eilenberg-Moore spectral sequence.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Frequency dissemination with free-space optical links
Optical clock technology is very certain to be integrated in the next high precision time standards. The demand for higher accuracy in time synchronization makes the use of free-space optical links necessary for frequency dissemination, especially if ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

EPOS−A Robotics-Based Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator for Simulating Satellite RvD Operations
Increasing complexity and costs of satellite missions promote the idea of extending the operational lifetime or improving functionalities/performance of a satellite in orbit instead of simply replacing it by a new one.

Mobile Robot Online Motion Planning Using Generalized Voronoi Graphs [PDF]
In this paper, a new online robot motion planner is developed for systematically exploring unknown environ¬ments by intelligent mobile robots in real-time applications. The algorithm takes advantage of sensory data to find an obstacle-free start-to-goal

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...
