Relatively free proucts in regular varieties
Algebra Universalis, 1974The principal result states that ifV is a regular variety without operations of rank zero (distinguished elements), then any two representations of an algebraA ∈V as aV-free product of subalgebras ofA have a common refinement.

A technique is presented using orthonormal tetrads which enables efficient algebraic manipulation of Einstein’s equations by computer and ease of physical interpretation. The results are applied to the spherically symmetric case and Birkhoff’s theorem is proved in the formalism.

Relatively free products of Magnus groups
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2006A group \(G\) is called a Magnus group if 1) \(\bigcap_{i=1}^\infty\gamma_iG=1\); 2) \(\gamma_iG/\gamma_{i+1}G\) are Abelian torsion free groups. It is shown that the class of Magnus \(\mathfrak{AN}_c\)-groups is closed with respect to \(\mathfrak{AN}_c\)-products.

This chapter argues for the view that Standard Free Relatives and Transparent Free Relatives have exactly the same bi-dimensional configurational structures, and against the view that they have distinct multi-dimensional structures, the transparent variety being externally headed by a token of a CP-internal post-copular phrase.

Free will as relative freedom with conscious component
Consciousness and Cognition, 2009The general notion of relative freedom is introduced. It is a kind of freedom that is observed everywhere in nature. In biology, incomplete knowledge is defined for all organisms. They cope with the problem by Popper's trial-and-error processes. One source of their success is the relative freedom of choice from the basic option ranges: mutations ...
