Subtask L: Validation of RANSE solver for the prediction of the free roll decay of a model ship. Comparison between numerical simulations and experimental data, including the full scale PIV measurements on the ship.

Aim of the present report is the validation of the RANSE code for the prediction of the roll decay motion of a Classe Comandanti ship model in calm water. Experimental data in model and full scale will be used for the validation of the numerical model proposed.
