Turbulence Measurements in the Wake of a Tanker Model on and under the Free Surface
Turbulence measurements in a circulating water channel are made by an X-type hot film probe. From three components of velocity fluctuations turbulence intensities, Reynolds shear stresses and turbulent kinetic energies are obtained. By stern longitudinal vortices formed in the wake the values of turbulence quantities are influenced appreciably.

A Ni,Cd‐codoped Fe2VO4/NF bifunctional electrocatalyst is rationally designed for efficient seawater electrolysis. Synergistic effect modulates electron configuration, optimizes intermediates adsorption, stabilizes high‐valence Fe/V sites, and repels chloride ions to suppress corrosion and side reactions, thus contributing to performance improvement of

Optimal Nonlinear Eddy Viscosity in Galerkin Models of Turbulent Flows
We propose a variational approach to identification of an optimal nonlinear eddy viscosity as a subscale turbulence representation for POD models. The ansatz for the eddy viscosity is given in terms of an arbitrary function of the resolved fluctuation ...

A thermo‐responsive poly(2‐oxazoline)‐based injectable formulation is developed to modulate intraocular pressure (IOP) in both normal and hypotonic eyes. By adjusting the PEG content, the aggregation behavior is finely tuned, enabling IOP elevation without long‐term deposition.

Power Optimization of Wind Farms Based on Improved Jensen Model and Deep Reinforcement Learning
The power capture capability of wind farms is constrained by various factors. To maximize the power output of wind farms and address the impacts of wake effects and turbulent wind speeds, this paper proposes a wind farm control scheme based on deep ...

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.
