Time-frequency Domain Analysis of an Automobile Transmission

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2017
As a whole, the automobile transmission producing vibration and noise is an inevitable result under the action of exciting force, the bearing, shaft and box has influence on the vibration and noise of the gearbox.

Frequency Domain Analysis of Continuous Systems with Viscous Generalized Damping

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2004
This paper deals with the effects of generalized damping distributions on vibrating linear systems. The attention is focused on continuous linear systems with distributed and possibly non-proportional viscous damping, which are studied in terms of modal ...

Time evolutions of scalar field perturbations in $D$-dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"om Anti-de Sitter black holes

open access: yes, 2016
Reissner-Nordstr\"om Anti-de Sitter (RNAdS) black holes are unstable against the charged scalar field perturbations due to the well-known superradiance phenomenon.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Feedback between US and UK Prices: a Frequency Domain Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper decomposes the feedback between US and UK price levels by frequency over the period 1791 to 1990. By adapting Geweke's (1982) method of decomposing the feedback between time series to the case of I(1) time series generated by a bivariate error-

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Convergence Analysis of EFOP Estimate Based on Frequency Domain Smoothing

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The classic methods for frequency domain transfer function estimation such as the Empirical Transfer Function Estimate (ETFE) and cross spectral method do not work well when the noise signal is complex.
