Asymmetric Magnon Frequency Comb
Nano LettersWe theoretically show the asymmetric spin wave transmission in a coupled waveguide-skyrmion structure, where the skyrmion acts as an effective nanocavity allowing the whispering gallery modes for magnons. The asymmetry originates from the chiral spin wave mode localized in the circular skyrmion wall. By inputting two-tone excitations and mixing them in

Microresonator Soliton Frequency Comb
2018 European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC), 2018Optical frequency combs in high-Q microresonators can advance timekeeping and frequency metrology, which are amenable to full photonic integration, low power consumption, large bandwidth and high repetition-rate. We will discuss the soliton regime behind such micro-combs and review their applications.

Microresonator frequency combs
2013 Conference on Lasers & Electro-Optics Europe & International Quantum Electronics Conference CLEO EUROPE/IQEC, 2013Femtosecond-laser frequency combs have revolutionized optical frequency metrology and precision timekeeping by providing a dense set of absolute reference lines that can span in excess of an octave. Beyond their natural application as an optical clockwork [1], frequency combs are used in diverse applications including measurements of fundamental ...

Quantum Optics The ability to generate optical frequency combs in which the output light is made up of millions of sharp lines precisely spaced apart has been important for optical applications and for fundamental science. Reimer et al. now show that frequency combs can be taken into the quantum regime.
