FSSM: Frequency-Enhanced State Space Modeling with FFT-Based Two-Sided Non-Causal Convolution for Image Dehazing [PDF]
Image dehazing is a fundamental visual restoration task for improving visual perception under low-visibility weather conditions, especially in UAV-based remote sensing, traffic monitoring, and surveillance scenarios.

Applicability of Time Domain Transform Methods for Frequency Dependent Dynamic Stiffness
Some types of dynamic stiffness, such as the dynamic ground stiffness used in soil-structure interaction analyses and the viscoelastic body used in vibration control systems, have strong frequency dependency.

Mechanical loading is a key factor governing bone adaptation. Both preclinical and clinical studies have demonstrated its effects on bone tissue, which were also notably predicted in the mechanostat theory.

Change in prey genotype frequency rescues predator from extinction
Indirect evolutionary rescue (IER) is a mechanism where a non-evolving species is saved from extinction in an otherwise lethal environment by evolution in an interacting species.

Tilting-Pad Journal Bearings—Frequency-Dependent Dynamic Coefficients and Pivot Flexibility Effects
Tribologists have generally accepted that the dynamic modeling of tilting-pad journal bearings (TPJB) must consider the frequency dependency of the dynamic properties.

Dependency Structures in Cryptocurrency Market from High to Low Frequency
We investigate logarithmic price returns cross-correlations at different time horizons for a set of 25 liquid cryptocurrencies traded on the FTX digital currency exchange. We study how the structure of the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) and the Triangulated

Frequency-Dependent Electroosmosis [PDF]
This paper presents a theory for frequency-dependent electroosmosis. It is shown that for a closed capillary the electroosmosis frequency-dependent ratio of DeltaV/DeltaP is constant with increasing frequency until inertial effects become prevalent, at which time DeltaV/DeltaP starts to decrease with increasing frequency.

It is well-established that cyclic, but not static, mechanical loading has anabolic effects on bone. However, the function describing the relationship between the loading frequency and the amount of bone adaptation remains unclear.

Design of a Wideband Balun Using IPD Technology for Compensating the Frequency Dependency [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a wideband balun using integrated passive device (IPD) technology. The proposed circuit is designed to compensate for the magnitude deviations by differentiating the magnitude S-parameter and calculating the lumped component ...
