Range-angle Decoupled Transmit Beamforming with Frequency Diverse Array (in English)

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2018
It has been shown that Frequency Diverse Arrays (FDA) exhibit a range-angle dependent beam steering feature by employing a uniform frequency increment across the array elements.

Review of Anisotropic Terahertz Material Response

open access: yes, 2013
Anisotropy is ubiquitous in solids and enhanced in low-dimensional materials. In response to an electromagnetic wave, anisotropic absorptive and refractive properties result in dichroic and birefringent optical phenomena both in the linear and nonlinear ...

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

Direction modulation based on planar rectangular non‐linear frequency diverse array

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2023
Since its inception, the frequency diverse array (FDA) has attracted extensive attention and research because of its unique properties. However, most of the research primarily focuses on linear geometry FDA, with fewer studies on planar FDA.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Ermakov-Lewis symmetry in photonic lattices

open access: yes, 2014
We present a class of waveguide arrays that is the classical analog of a quantum harmonic oscillator where the mass and frequency depend on the propagation distance.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms of Glioma Recurrence: A Study Integrating Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Glioma recurrence severely impacts patient prognosis, with current treatments showing limited efficacy. Traditional methods struggle to analyze recurrence mechanisms due to challenges in assessing tumor heterogeneity, spatial dynamics, and gene networks.

Focusing RF-on demand by Logarithmic Frequency-Diverse Arrays

open access: yes2020 IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference (WPTC), 2020
The radiating systems exploiting the frequency diversity of the antennas are powerful architectures, that can have a big impact on wireless power transmission applications, but their characterization is merely theoretical. This paper offers a deep and critical numerical analysis of frequency- diverse arrays and shows the advantages of the family with ...
