THE STRUCTURE OF THE FREQUENCY EQUATIONS ROD SYSTEMS WITH DISTRIBUTED PARAMETERS
The graph and finite-state machine models for forming spatial vibration frequency equations with continuous parameters are used. The example of calculation of vibrations of bi-regular beam with different section characteristics is presented.

High-Frequency Instabilities of the Ostrovsky Equation [PDF]
We study spectral stability of small amplitude periodic traveling waves of the Ostrovsky equation. We prove that these waves exhibit spectral instabilities arising from a collision of pair of non-zero eigenvalues on the imaginary axis when subjected to square integrable perturbations on the whole real line. We also list all such collisions between pair

Comparison of dominant frequency attenuation of blasting vibration for different charge structures
Dominant frequency attenuation is a significant concern for frequency-based criteria of blasting vibration control. It is necessary to develop a concise and practical prediction equation describing dominant frequency attenuation.

Homogenization of the Maxwell Equations at Fixed Frequency [PDF]
The homogenization of the Maxwell equations at fixed frequency is addressed in this paper. The notion of two-scale convergence is employed to solve the homogenization problem. A new a priori estimate is obtained as well as a new result on the correctors.

He’s frequency formula to fractal undamped Duffing equation
Nonlinear oscillation is an increasingly important and extremely interesting topic in engineering. This article completely reviews a simple method proposed by Ji-Huan He and successfully establishes a fractal undamped Duffing equation through the two ...

Frequency locking in an injection-locked frequency divider equation [PDF]
We consider a model for a resonant injection-locked frequency divider, and study analytically the locking onto rational multiples of the driving frequency. We provide explicit formulae for the width of the plateaux appearing in the devil's staircase structure of the lockings, and in particular show that the largest plateaux correspond to even integer ...

An Exact Dynamic Analysis Method for Shallow Sagged Cables
With the increase of the span and height of modern engineering structures, the design complexity of the cable structure is constantly increasing, whose dynamic problem has become the key to structural design, performance monitoring and maintenance, and ...
