Magnetic Vortex Core String Gyrotropic Oscillations in Thick Cylindrical Dots

open access: yesMagnetism, 2022
The nonuniform magnetic vortex gyrotropic oscillations along the cylindrical dot thickness were calculated. A generalized Thiele equation was used for describing the vortex core motion including magnetostatic and exchange forces.

Modelling of Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) Pretreatment on Fresh Moringa oleifera Leaves Extraction Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM)

open access: yesIndustria: Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Agroindustri, 2022
Moringa leaves are a source of high antioxidants. This study aims to find an equation model for the extraction conditions of Moringa leaves with Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) pretreatment.

Solution to a Damped Duffing Equation Using He’s Frequency Approach

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2022
In this paper, we generalize He’s frequency approach for solving the damped Duffing equation by introducing a time varying amplitude. We also solve this equation by means of the homotopy method and the Lindstedt–Poincaré method.

Fractional Differential Equation-Based Instantaneous Frequency Estimation for Signal Reconstruction

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2021
In this paper, we propose a fractional differential equation (FDE)-based approach for the estimation of instantaneous frequencies for windowed signals as a part of signal reconstruction.

On Propagation of Rayleigh Type Surface Wave in Five Different Theories of Thermoelasticity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2019
The governing equations for a homogeneous and isotropic thermoelastic medium are formulated in the context of coupled thermoelasticity, Lord and Shulman theory of generalized thermoelasticity with one relaxation time, Green and Lindsay theory of ...

High Frequency limit of the Helmholtz Equations

open access: yesRevista Matemática Iberoamericana, 2002
We derive the high frequency limit of the Helmholtz equations in terms of quadratic observables. We prove that it can be written as a stationary Liouville equation with source terms. Our method is based on the Wigner Transform, which is a classical tool for evolution dispersive equations.

Innermost Stable Circular Orbit of Inspiraling Neutron-Star Binaries: Tidal Effects, Post-Newtonian Effects and the Neutron-Star Equation of State [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We study how the neutron-star equation of state affects the onset of the dynamical instability in the equations of motion for inspiraling neutron-star binaries near coalescence.

Resonant and antiresonant frequencies of multiple cracked bar

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mechanics, 2019
The natural frequencies or related resonant frequencies have been widely used for crack detection in structures by the vibration-based technique. However, antiresonant frequencies, the zeros of frequency response function, are less involved to use for ...
