In this paper, a novel joint continuous power and rate adaptation scheme is proposed fordoubly selective fading channels in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, based on terminal velocity and perfect or imperfect channel state ...

Bounds on the capacity of ofdm under spread frequency selective fading channels [PDF]
The analysis of the channel capacity in the absence of prior channel knowledge (noncoherent channel) has gained increasing interest in recent years, but it is still unknown for the general case. In this paper we derive bounds on the capacity of the noncoherent, underspread complex Gaussian, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), wide sense ...

Multi-User CFOs Estimation for SC-FDMA System Over Frequency Selective Fading Channels
Frequency synchronization in single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) uplink system is a challenging task due to the presence of different carrier frequency offsets (CFOs) for different users.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Capacity of Time-Hopping PPM and PAM UWB Multiple Access Communications over Indoor Fading Channels
The capacity of time-hopping pulse position modulation (PPM) and pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) for an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system is investigated based on the multipath fading statistics of UWB indoor wireless channels.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

Robust Frequency-Hopping System for Channels with Interference and Frequency-Selective Fading [PDF]
A robust frequency-hopping system with noncoherent detection, iterative turbo decoding and demodulation, and channel estimation is presented. The data modulation is the spectrally compact nonorthogonal continuous-phase frequency-shift keying, which strengthens the frequency-hopping system against multiple- access interference and multitone jamming.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐
