Frequency and polarisation selective surface for sub‐millimetre wave atmospheric remote sensing
A novel Frequency and Polarisation Selective Surface (FPSS) is proposed, which separates two adjacent bands with a narrow transition zone by the staggered separation scheme and is suitable for atmospheric remote sensing.

SWITCHABLE SPLIT-RING FREQUENCY SELECTIVE SURFACES [PDF]
Tunable frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) based on split ring resonators (SRRs) are presented. Tuning performance is achieved by means of several on/off switches placed between the rings of each SRR element. The band-stop FSS response is dynamically tuned to different frequency bands at different switching states.

Traditional Frequency Selective Surface versus Substrate Integrated Waveguide Frequency Selective Surface [PDF]
This paper is devoted to analysis design and fabrication of both traditional and substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) frequency selective surfaces (FSS) of square elements and square lattice. The transmission loss is studied for different angle of incidence; normal, thirty, forty five and sixty degrees.

Bandwidth in Cross Dipole Frequency Selective Surfaces
This paper presents the implementation outcomes of the Equivalent Circuit Model (ECM) acting in conjunction with the Matrix Cascading Method (MCM) for bandwidth calculation in cross dipole Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSSs).

Satellite communication systems require dual-band circularly polarized (CP) waves to integrate receiving and transmit antennas into one dual-band terminal. Polarization converters play an important role in such a scenario to convert the incoming linearly

Proposed Technique of Analysis for Absorber/Transmitter Frequency Selective Surfaces
In this paper, we propose a simple technique to analyze absorber/transmitter frequency selective surfaces (FSS). The structure is formed by two FSS, one resistive and one conductive. Both FSS are printed on an FR4 dielectric substrate.

Finite frequency selective surface modelling
In this paper we describe the development of an electromagnetic modelling technique to investigate edge illumination effects on finite size FSS performance. The work extends the commonly used unit cell approach and models the FSS as a linear array with Gaussian beam excitation.

Inductive Frequency Selective Surface: An Application for Dichroic Sub-Reflectors
An Inductive Frequency Selective Surface (IFSS) self-standing dichroic sub-reflector is presented, which allows the transmission of two frequency bands and reflection of a third band. The operating frequency of the sub-reflector is designed to work at Ku,
